STORYTELLING

On December 11, we had a new non-formal, the so-called Storytelling. We were invited to come over by our fellow EVS volunteers in M.O.R.E. project, who were going to put this technique into action. There was also a professional storyteller there as well who showed and explained to us the basics of this: It is basically narrating a story in your native language while you also describe that story with your actions and body/facial gestures. This idea wakes up feeling in the spectators, so even if they don’t know the target language of the narration, they can understand the story and live it themselves. We were so pleased to have been there to learn this new technique and we are looking forward to hearing from the next one!
